Day 8 - Hanuma Bay
Hanuma Bay Poem
Today we 'did' Hanauma,
To snorkel coral reefs,
We saw turtles, fish and urchins,
well within our reach.
The sea was clear and blue-green,
the waves were not too rough,
the shouls of fish darted about -
it was so hard not to touch!
Our goggles we bombarded,
with visions truly great,
we didn't want to leave the bay-
but knew we couldn't be late.
A bus we caught by dinner,
then out again for tea,
'Cheesecake Factory' our venue-
not far from beach and Sea.
Our bellies were well-struggling,
with scrumptious food and drink-
we watched the sun set after-
no swimming or we'd sink!!!!

Day 5 - Polynesian Cultural Centre
In the morning we visited the shops or went to the beach to top up our tans. Then in the afternoon we headed to the Polynesian Cultural Centre where we saw cultures from Samoa, New Zealand, Tonga, Tahiti and saw a spectacular show in the evening. Amy Hiles and Joshua Holt danced away at the evening meal where they announced their 'one year anniversary!!'
4th Day - Concerts
Thursday began with a well-welcomed trip to the beach; including more swimming, more sun-bathing and more RED shoulders!! Next the band headed for the Botanical Gardens, accompanied by a few drops of pleasant warm rain to play a very successful concert. The band then returned to their favorite resturant Denny's for yet another lovely meal.

3rd Day - First Concert :)
This day started with a small concert provided by George Sansome playing his amazing Ukelele. We soon packed our cases and walked a few blocks to the Royal Hawaiian Centre to play our first concert to Honolulu, with the hawaiian premiere performance of Phillip Harper's 'Hawaii 5 0' which went down with a few giggles from the locals. We soon returned to the hotel to then change into casuals before meeting students from a high school with amazing music facilities to join them in a marching band rehearsal. Time to chill out in the evening pool side with a domino's pizza for everyone. One busy day.

Day 2 - Free Day
It was a day to relax and recover. We learnt about 'J' walking, suncream and what the colour blue really was! We found out what Hawaiian 'continental' was at breakfast, learnt how to barter at the market and enjoyed the sunshire at the beach and by the pool. Evening at Dennies saw many hungry faces which left no room spare in their bellies...
