Day 5 - Polynesian Cultural Centre

In the morning we visited the shops or went to the beach to top up our tans. Then in the afternoon we headed to the Polynesian Cultural Centre where we saw cultures from Samoa, New Zealand, Tonga, Tahiti and saw a spectacular show in the evening. Amy Hiles and Joshua Holt danced away at the evening meal where they announced their 'one year anniversary!!'

  1. Hi George
Sounds like you're having a fantastic time. Dad has been playing jazz at the Game Fair at Ragley Hall all weekend. They have been approached about gigs all over the country...!Grandpa, John and I went yesterday and John has gone with him again today. Hannah should be in Shanghi now but haven't heard from her yet.
Keep taking lots of photos. Enjoy your hike today.
    Mum x

Hope you are managing to put up with all that sun, sea & sand Katie & slapping on that sun cream. How many times have you fallen asleep on the beach?
Dad had the shortest haircut ever yesterday, it's see-through, he's gonna need a hat/cap to wear in France. It's actually looks great.
We have some sun today, yipee, but going to pack more things in the caravan. Must remember to pack your stuff!!!!!
    Love you, Mum (Dad & Lu). x x x

Shaun came round yesterday - Switchplay have an audition on 7th Sept for the European Tour in October. Two out of four bands will be picked for the tour. Have told Shaun that you'll be able to make it - suggest you save your extra dollars just in case!

  5. Hi everyone!
Looks like you're all having a great time. So many questions- how warm is the sea? What is a Hawaiin continental breakfast? How many burnt shoulders are there? What sort of dancing were Amy & Joshua doing?!! It's so quiet here without you Amy,the food lasts a lot longer too. Ebby is missing you & keeps wanting to go in your room to look for you. Sam says hi.Make sure you take lots of photos. Lots of love, Mum, Sam & a big lick from Ebby

  12. Hi Polly! the name mum gave me is waikkiki hotel honolulu, but there are loads of hotels with that name! what's the exact name? i'm staying on the north shore and will come to Hanauma Bay tomorrow, but it's probably a huge place so might be hard to spot you! ideally i'd like to come along to a concert!
